Worth the effort to get there. A short boat ride up the river, or a beach walk to increase appetite is all it takes to arrive for Fabulous fresh food in large portions. The clubhouse sandwich could feed two and is delicious. The tuna tataki was a brilliant choice. The tuna tower was my highlight (it's on the specials menu). Great handmade cocktails. Live music in evenings.

Shake it, shake it Sugaree, and that’s what we did New Years Eve! This beautiful lil spot has phenomenal food and drinks. Everything on the menu is top notch with enormous portions. Excellent service and communication from Jhordan at the bar. Free bottomless margaritas on my birthday week.The chef agreed to cook the raw mahi-mahi I purchased at Pedro’s in Tamarindo with veggies and salad. A perfect day.

We visited Sugaree's on July 28th with a group of adults and kids. The staff and Phil made us all feel so welcome. The food was amazing (I got the tuna tower) and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere and overall vibe can't be beat. We stayed and enjoyed live music for several hours. Our son said the place was "awesome" and he asked to go back there the next day. It was one of our favorite spots while visiting the area.

Stayed in palm beach estates and after discovering this place on my first day in, i spent every single night of my vacation at this bar and grill. The atmosphere is amazing. Everyone is so nice and kind. The pricing for everything is very fair. The food is quick, fresh, and very delicious and the bartenders are some of the nicest you’ll ever meet. I had to get a shirt to remember this place itll be one of the only souvenirs i take home from the country because i made some of the best memories of my trip here with the locals, regulars, and employees.
